Visitor Information

Visitors are welcome to Taunton Vale seven days a week and can be assured that they will be well looked after. As well as playing golf, why not sample our delicious home cooked meals and bar snacks.

Please read our rules on dress code and etiquette to help ensure your day runs smoothly.

Dress Code

To play the Charlton course golfers are expected to wear suitable golf attire including a collared/polo/turtle neck top, tailored trousers or shorts, sports/trainer socks and golf shoes. Our Durston (9 hole) has a more relaxed code where casual dress and trainers are accepted.

We accept smart casual within the Clubhouse including smart jeans and clean golf attire (minus the hat!)

Handicap Certificates

Although there is no requirement to provide a handicap certificate we do expect visitors to have some experience of playing and knowledge of the R & A Rules of Golf, including etiquette.
